Day 4 of new chore schedule...

This will be kind of a short post as I am still dealing with my headache from yesterday. It kept me up most of the night and now I am going to go take my medicine for headaches and it will make me very sleepy so I will probably be taking a nap pretty soon. Wanted to get this post up before that happens.

It's a little after 6 AM and my morning and cleaning chores for today are done. Not much to do today, just vacuum and mop the hard floors wich for me are the two bathrooms and the kitchen/dining area.

Another cloudy day here in the San Joaquin Valley of California~

Here are some pictures from this morning~

If you see a red bucket in my house then you know it must be mopping day~

Even though Roger was very tired last night when he got home he went ahead and put up the curtain rod in the master bathroom, so I can finally show what it looks like. I decided to go with a Red/white/blue theme in there basically because it already has blue tile on the counters and I had tons of red/white/blue things from when my kitchen was that color. The curtain is even one from the kitchen that I had made. ~

I have been cleaning out and organizing drawers in my kitchen, just have to show you a few of them~

My silverware drawer, gross isn't it~

This is after washing it with soap and water~

My handy Dandy magic eraser, don't you just love the imprint of Mr. Clean??~

All Clean after the magic eraser~

I washed all the items that go in that drawer by hand~

Everything put back together~

Then my towel drawer, what a mess~

So much better now, I got the idea for rolling the towels from a blog but can't remember who's it was ~

I also wanted to show you one of my favorite items in the kitchen, my Wusthoff Santuko knife~

Roger gave me that knife in my stocking one year for Christmas, this knife has the sharpest blade even for slicing things like tomatoes. Nothing beats a good sharp knife. I don't really care for serated edged knives as they can't be sharpened.

We are very excited we have our first tomato, it's still real small and green but it's a start~

Well I guess this didn't end up being too short of a post!!

Blessings,Joann

  4. Okay....your silverware holder didn't look any worse than mine does right now.... So guess what I am going to do tomorrow morning?

I love the idea about rolling the towels and dish cloths and putting in the drawer!!! That will answer a space problem in my kitchen.
