Seems there is lots of hype about today, I took it a little differently I went to my Bible looked up the 9th book of the Old testament the 9th chapter and the 9th verse
1 Samuel chapter 9 verse 9~
"(Formerly in Israel, when a man went to inquire of God, he spoke thus: "Come, let us go to the seer"; for he who is now called a prophet was formetly called a seer."
This is my scripture for the day..

I wrote out a check yesterday dated 09-09-09 and that was the first time I even realized it was that date. I saw on the news where lots of people in China were getting married on this date for "good luck". It was fun writing it out on the check. :o)

I didn't even realize the date until the next day--OOPS...LOL. That was really neat how you looked it up in the Bible.

ReplyDeleteYou mentioned that you would love to learn how to quilt some day. I decided to finally learn - I live in an area where quilting is HUGE! So...I went down to one of our local stores here (Quilt King) and bought a kit and just started. I did not do the quilt top but used yarn instead. This technique has a name but I have forgotten it. I will try and post a picture soon. Quilt King does have a catalog if you are interested (Quilt King, Liberty, Kentucky). :)
